WAITIKI Character: The Blue-Collared Plamingo Flagoda

The Blue Plamingo Flagoda is actually yellow; the word “blue” refers to its collar and social class. The specimen displayed here was created in April 2007 by Helen Liu and Randy Wong. Its body is in the shape and colors of a pineapple, and it is almost always seen carrying a Rum Barrel (from the Mai Kai restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, FL) with a pineapple within; Plamingos carry them to work!
